About Us
We are an independent studio creating games focused on alternative movements, marginalized groups, and
counter-cultures.
Our games aim for strong immersion through tight, purposeful storytelling, carefully treated subjects, impactful
sound design, and gameplay systems that directly support the core theme. We favor dystopian, alternate, or reimagined timelines and spaces for our games settings.
Our artistic direction embraces punk methods and unconventional production choices, both visually and
structurally.

Teknopolis
In Teknopolis, become an organizer of clandestine parties. Build your collective, explore a dystopian megacity, recruit DJs, find locations, and gather equipment while defying the authority of the system.
Teknopolis is an immersion into the underground free-party scene and its culture.

Punk Punk at the 01/05 TEKNIVAL
04/05/2026
From May 1 to 5, a huge Teknival took place in france on a military base under heavy police surveillance.
Among the 30 000 partygoers, the Punk Punk team was here, tents and cans in hand, to talk about the game by distributing flyers and stickers. The reception has been heartwarming and it was a pleasure to share ideas on the project !
It's important to remind that these kind of events are in danger of extinctions, as a bill criminalizing clandestine parties has been adopted in April 9 by the National Assembly. It provides for penalties of “six months’ imprisonment and a 5,000-euro fine” for organizers. In addition, the group also seeks to punish anyone who contributes, directly or indirectly, to the preparation, organization, or smooth running of a gathering with six months’ imprisonment and a fine of 30,000 euros.
The story of Teknopoly was supposed to be a dystopia, but it's getting dangerously closer to reality everyday. This is why any voice of protestation, whether it's educating about in on the social medias, organising more events, creating engaged art or even make a video game about this culture, is of utmost importance to preserve it's legacy and convictions.
See you next time, stay engaged, stay punk !
Using linocut for Teknopolis
26/04/2026
Since Teknopolis is a text-heavy game, it was really important to nail the main font and give it a strong identy so that it's undetachable from the game.
As part of our mixed-media approach, we decided to experiment with hand-carved letters using engraving erasers, then scanning them.
Using the clean font BackOut from Velvetyne as a base, the goal was to create a texture with character, intentionnaly messy to give the impression it comes straight from an underground printing press.
The result ? A typography and a logo that feel unapologetically anarchist.
See you next time, stay messy, stay punk !
Teknopolis artistic references : FLYERS
23/04/2026
It's without surprise that the artistic direction of teknopolis is heavily influence by the aesthetic of free parties and teknival, and one of the biggest crystalisation of it can be found in their flyers : they are usually graphically rich, mixing styles, blending psychedelic and cybernetic visuals, spirals, tribal motifs, nomadic counterculture, and low-tech futurism…
If you look closely at our artistic direction, you'll notice how big of a reference these flyers are for us : they shaped our predominant colors (white, dark grey and black), the emphasis we put on outlines and frames, teh use of linocut and posterisation...
We can't stress enough how important it is to have clearly defined but generous moodboard and references board !
See you next time, stay inspired, stay punk !
Punk Punk at Vincennes free party
19/04/2026
Honestly we couldn't wait to go to a free party as a team and it finally happened this april in the woods of Vincennes in Paris !
We were allowed to come very early, as our objective was first and foremost to shoot and record footage of the organizers setting up the place : speakers being stacked up, cables being plugged... you know the drill.
These footages, and many more to come, will serve as the base to our modular cutscenes that appear in the game whenever you finish your flyer and launch the party. I say modular 'cause the cinematic will change depending on where the party takes place, what equipment you got, which DJ is playing...Your strategie and choices shape the festivities !
This opportunity allowed us to talk with very creative people interested in the game, and of course, it would be rude not to dance while we're here ! You know, for research purposes...
See you next time, stay knowledge-hungry, stay punk !
UI update
13/04/2026
The user interface of Teknopolis is getting a glow-up !
The early version was just a mean to an end to prototype the general backbone of the game and it's interactions. Now that we're at far enough point it's time to reimagine the Ui to implement it !
The 2 main visual directions are "black and white contrast" and "captivating outlines". Both find their inspiration in the bold and radical visuals of free parties flyers.
See you next time, stay out of the box, stay punk !
Ressources and movement
19/03/2026
Did we tell you how important resources are in our game?
There's actually only one kind of resource and you do everything with it: paying for equipment, convincing DJ's to join your collective, and even explore the city! About that, movement is finally implemented, click on a resource and you can move as many tiles as the number written on the resource: walk along the road, climb the stairs to reach the roof, cross high bridges or go inside tunnels! Hopefully you'll make interesting discoveries that will help you in your quest to throw free parties...
We also thought a lot about what our resources could look like. Dices? Cards? Those do not really resonate with the theme of Teknopolis... Thus our choice to make them cans! We can't wait to work on their design to really make them pop.
See you next time, stay resourceful, stay punk !
Getting our hands dirty
11/03/2026
Hey there ! Things are getting pretty concrete around here.
After a lot of theory to make sure we share a united vision of the project, we’ve started to create the first bricks of the game (figuratively but also literally)
Alice is refining the artistic direction and creating the textures, Lucas uses them to model the first blocks that will compose the city and Galilée is working on the movement mechanic.
Feels good to actually start creating and see it comes into place !
See you next time, stay crafty, stay punk !
Enjmin Game Conferences !
01/03/2026
This week, we had the opportunity to go to the Cnam-Enjmin school in Angouleme, France where we listened and met many actors of the gamedev industry. It was very inspiring to learn how these creators brought their vision to life !
We had the honor to talk to Manon and Guille, aka Selkie Harbor, the team behind Many Nights a Whisper and Virtue and a SledgeHammer. In addition to being really nice people, they were enthousiasts about alternative visuals use in games and are eager to see what we will create in the next few months !
See you next time, stay hopeful, stay punk !
Prototyping with cards and paper
20/02/2026
We recommend anyone trying to create a playable experience to test it as soon as possible, paper, cards, dices, anything you got. This will make it easier to tweak your game, spot grey areas, aknowledge what's fun and what's not.
So that's what we did today ! We're now aware that the range at which you unveil the fog of war influences a lot the player's next move. Age of empires players will know, it's important to scout dark areas of the map as soon as possible ;)
See you next time, stay open to change, stay punk !

Hello World !
18/02/2026
This is the start of everything, the studio, the website, our first game !
We've been working hard these past few days to create this project. We are
all studying Immersive Experience Design at Gobelins / Cnam-Enjmin and this project was initially a school project.
I am currently writing this in my classroom, after a long day of prototyping, planning, reading, researching, kebab eating, etc...
But we're having a lot of fun and we can't wait to show you more !
See you next time, stay free, stay punk !
